Pop Music Star George Michael Dies aged 53-The British famous star who picked in his career in the late 80s dies of heart failure according to family sources.
Michael died at his home in Goring, England. His publicist, Cindi Berger, claimed the famous pop star never was ill prior to his sudden death. His manager, Michael Lippman put the cause of his death as heart failure. A family statement appealed to the public in a statement soliciting for a maintained privacy through attached the cause of his death to heart failure adding that he “passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.
“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”
Prior to his Manager Michael Lippmann’s announcement, police had described George’s as unexplained in a statement even though no suspicion was made about his sudden departure. The Police claimed that “a post mortem will be undertaken in due course.”
“A post-mortem will be undertaken in due course. There will be no further updates from Thames Valley Police until the post-mortem has taken place.”
A small heart wreath and a rose are among the tributes that have begun to be left outside the front door of Michael’s home, a detached property by the River Thames.
Michael was born as real name Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in north Londo. He sold more than 100 million albums throughout a career spanning almost four decades and has been troubled in recent years with drug problems which he had acknowledged publicly.

He first found fame with his school friend Ridgeley in duo Wham! – reaching number one in the singles charts on four occasions – before going on to release solo albums, including the multi-million selling Faith in 1987 and its follow-up Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1.
It outsold Faith in the UK but led to Michael losing a court case with record label Sony over his frustration over how the album has been marketed.
His talents as a singer, songwriter and music producer made George Michael one of the world’s biggest-selling artists.
Blessed with good looks and a fine singing voice, his stage presence made him a favourite on the live concert circuit as he matured from teen idol to long-term stardom.
But there were times when his battle with drugs and encounters with the police made lurid headlines that threatened to eclipse his musical talents.
One of the giants of ’80s and ’90s music, and an early idol for the MTV generation, Michael enjoyed immense popularity from the start with hits such as “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” ”Young Guns (Go For It)” and “Freedom.” As a solo artist, he developed into a more serious singer and songwriter, lauded by critics for his powerful vocal and expressive range. He sold well over 100 million albums globally, earned numerous Grammy and American Music Awards, and recorded duets with Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Luciano Pavarotti and Elton John among others.
“I have lost a beloved friend — the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist,” Elton John wrote on Instagram.
